H&N Enterprises can trace its agricultural and ranching roots back to early pioneers into the trivalley area in the 1880′s. Since then we have evolved into sustainable stewards of the land using livestock as tools to enhance the environment. H&N Enterprises has vast experience in grazing within sensitive areas and maintains a set of rangeland goals to maintain an optimal mosaic of vegetation and promote biodiversity through sustainable livestock grazing operations. H&N models our grazing practices after studies that show benefits to the land such as shifting supplemental feed locations to create patches of disturbances rather than concentrating them to one region which degrades the range and biodiversity. The stocking rate and rotational grazing practice is unique to each land parcel and is designed around achieving a certain residual dry matter (RDM). Grazing operations include Cow/Calf, Stocker, and Goat Grazing. Goat grazing is primarily utilized for vegetation management of invasive species such as starthistle and other noxious plants. H&N has experience in grazing within the interface of public usage and the challenges that exist with those operations. If you have any questions regarding our livestock operations or have property available for lease feel free to contact us.
